About Sandpiper
Everything the desert offers - just steps away.
The Sandpiper is the finest mid-century modern condo complex in the Coachella Valley. Located in Palm Desert, California, it was designed by world renowned architect William Krisel and built in phases between 1958 and 1969. The architectural firm of Daniel Palmer and William Krisel designed the development to be "tropically beautiful and beautifully work-free." This was realized by constructing Sandpiper's 300-plus homes in circle-shaped clusters centered-around crystal clear swimming pools and luxuriant landscaping.
Our condo in one of the original circles, is located in a beautiful setting that provides spectacular views and individual privacy, and has historical designation - all just walking distance to the luxurious shopping and restaurants of El Paseo.
Activities and amenities include some of the best hiking and biking trails in the world, mountain views, architecturally stunning swimming pools, putting greens, and tennis courts within a short 5 minute walk.
Sandpiper Palm Desert combines the best of mid-century modern design aesthetic with 21st century living.
